Nicole Thurgate Opens with a quite realistic baked goods smell. Like a freshly baked pie crust. Unfortunately there is a strange (burnt plastic) smell underneath that pokes through occasionally. No apple note that I could find, and if there was I'd give it more than 4 stars. The vanilla takes a while to shine through, this is definitely one that develops over time.
It is however an absolute beast of a fragrance. It lasts on my skin all day and the projection is big! Not for the faint of heart perfume wise! Jousset is a great fragrance house.
