Have worn this a couple of times and I get overwhelmed with a strong menthol note on the opening. It's akin to Deep Heat for me, I get transported back to my football change room days minus the vapor. And that opening sticks around for quite a while. But once it heads into the dry-down I can start to appreciate the vanilla&co in the base smoothing off the top notes and and that's where the fragrance shows its character and shines. If I could live through the opening I would add this to my cool weather repartee, but it's a bit too rough a ride for my nose.
Having not heard of this scent in all my years (seems I'm the only one on the planet?!), I'd read this was a more sophisticated Cool Water. It's not exactly the same, I guess one can detect it's a smidge smoother, but to my nose all I get is Cool Water and that's a scent I was pretty tired of back in the 90s. To be honest I can't understand the fascination with this DNA in 2024, but I'm comfortable my nose ain't as normal as most, I probably should have heeded other reviews I'd read and moved past this one but curiosity got the better of me.
Hate to use the word, but on my skin this comes over a bit "dank" and one-dimensional. My wife likes it, she has swiped it from my decant box, so perhaps that's an advert for a unisex scent? Not for me though.
Smells identical to Bianco latte. A very gourmand scent, vanilla and caramel notes are very prominent. It lasts hours and projects so well.
I am super happy with my order from niche scents, was packaged well and came with a handwritten note. The fragrances I ordered are all amazing, good quality bottles and atomisers. Bianco latte is my favourite, it lasts all day on the skin and I will purchase the full size from here too. Thank you niche scents !!!
